  • Avoid Makeup

    Exfoliation is an integral part of most facials − we even go so far as to say, no treatment is complete without it. But exfoliation removes the surface layer of the skin, exposing sensitive deeper skin.


    Makeup or other similar products can seep into the deeper layers of the skin if applied after a facial. This can cause irritation, swelling, and acne breakouts. In extreme instances, it can also trigger an allergic reaction.


    Thus, we recommend staying away from all forms of makeup following your procedure. This is especially true in the first few hours.
